Men will be kids, forever

I re watched Ocean's 13 this weekend and just had to think about the excitement and constant longing to be part of a major heist. I have not met a man who does not fantasize about being part of a heist. The smoke screens, the charades, the high tech gadgets, the timing, the improvisation, the conflicts, the last minute replacement who someone always vouches for, the getaway and finally, the celebration. The Ocean's series of movies have that elegance to it. A hollywood cast dressed in suits pulling off brilliant victimless crimes; in reality they are white collar criminals who only steal from "bad guys". Andy Garcia, Al Pacino and the people who own the Faberge egg are the targets in all 3 movies. These are the bad guys whose only fault is to own wealth, with the exception of Al Pacino who wronged one of the 11 on a sour business deal, but I mean, it's Al Pacino, he can never play the good guy, should've been expected.

I personally couldn't think of a wealthy "bad guy" I would like to rob, except for the US government, but I'm afraid that even if I could pull it off, I would only to find a vault full of I.O.U's. But being part of a crew that pulls of such an endeavor attracts any man. Along with a high speed car chases and saving a damsel in distress only to have her fall madly in love with us. Stupid fantasies, but nonetheless, real and present. This is what occupies our minds, ladies, whenever we do end up thinking about something.

You know what the should come up with? Ocean's 1, show the story of how they all got to know each other. I don't know, just thinking out loud here.
